You have found my Amsoil Dealer web site. Yes, I am an Amsoil dealer, mostly because I am a satisfied Amsoil customer. I believe that Amsoil lubrication products are superior to most, if not all alternatives in performance. However, the reason I use them is because they provide the best value, resulting in the lowest costs.
Measured by volume, the price of Amsoil products may be higher than most alternatives, but the difference in performance offsets the difference in price, making Amsoil the better choice. To see how this is possible, compare the standard "3 months or 3,000 miles" oil change interval (or even the longer intervals allowed with some premium oils) to Amsoil's drain intervals. If the extended drain intervals recommended by Amsoil are not long enough to make Amsoil economically superior to other alternatives, I would be surprised. Yet even so, Amsoil provides the means to analyze engine oil to see whether it is still good for continued use, potentially extending drain intervals beyond those recommended in general. If you pay for maintenance on a fleet of vehicles, the total savings could be tremendous, as illustrated by this real-life usage example.
Besides the advantage in costs for oil changes, Amsoil's technical superiority has been documented to result in more power and efficiency (i.e., it maximizes fuel economy), and less wear on equipment (i.e., it improves cold temperature startup, and better protects moving parts against wear). Similar results have been documented for motorcycles. There is also documentation showing testing of gear lubes.
Amsoil's technical superiority extends into oil and air filtration. From my unscientific observations when pre-filling fresh filters prior to installation, it's obvious that the relatively new "Ea" filters allow a much faster flow of oil through the filter media. One might suppose from this that the new filters are not as effective at trapping particles, but according to this report, Ea Synthetic Nanofiber Oil Filters provide the highest efficiency filtration of those filters included in this test: 98.7% at a size of 15 microns. Ea filters are a breakthrough technology, providing advantages in all aspects of filter performance. That means less engine wear and longer life.
In my 2-cycle engines (weedwacker and chain saws), I use Amsoil's Saber synthetic 2-cycle oil, which works very well at a 100:1 pre-mix ratio. It's smokeless, and the engines run cool when tuned properly. Amsoil has other 2-cycle oils for other applications.

If you were to become an independent Amsoil Dealer yourself, or a Preferred Customer, you would have access to Amsoil products at a significant discount. The exact discount is determined by Amsoil, approximately 20-25%. In my experience, the annual cost to be a Preferred Customer should pay for itself if you buy lubrication products for two vehicles, depending upon your needs. Besides lubrication, Amsoil provides other product lines, so that if you buy lawn and garden products or nutritional supplements, the cost of being a Preferred Customer or a Dealer might be covered more easily by the savings.

If you do your own periodic maintenance, you will find Amsoil products easy to work with. I prefer the one-gallon containers.
If you don't change your own oil, or do your own periodic maintenance, you may wonder if you can still use Amsoil. The answer is yes. It's possible to find someone who will do the work with the products you want. In 2004, I had a Toyota dealer replace the automatic transmission fluid with an Amsoil product, and there were no questions asked.
